Objectives

  •  The client would like to identify new manufacturing supplier in Yangtze River Delta to replace the current supplier in southern China

 

Deliverables (7 Weeks)

  • Phase I: Screen 10 candidates for further evaluation

  • Phase II: On-site review of the candidates and selected 1 for further negotiation with the client

 

Processes

  • Review of the manufacturing processes of the current supplier

  • Identify 70+ suppliers as the potential candidates in the long list  

  • Review with the client to select 10 for pre-visits

  • Take the client to meet 5 producers and finally select 1 for further negotiation

  • Facilitation of negotiation meetings, information exchanges and documentation

 

Results

  • The client is negotiating and arranging pilot production
